In our world, which is growing ever closer together, it has also become essential for Ruhrpharm AG to network and exchange ideas with like-minded people. That is why we are involved in various associations and cooperations:
The BPI represents its members in the field of drug research, development, approval, production and marketing. Over 260 companies with around 72,000 employees have joined forces with us in the BPI.
The VCI represents the economic policy interests of around 1,650 chemical companies in Germany. As the voice of the industry, the association communicates with politicians and authorities as well as other areas of business, science and the media.
The Phytopharmaceuticals Cooperation is a scientific society which is committed to the interests and preservation of herbal medicinal products.
The German Generics Association is the association within the pharmaceutical industry that is particularly committed to competition from as many competitors as possible, and thus especially for medium-sized and small generic manufacturers.
The association »Arzneimittel und Kooperation im Gesundheitswesen« (»Pharmaceuticals and Cooperation in the Health Care System«) serves the purpose of voluntary self-regulation. Here, pharmaceutical companies based in Germany have joined forces to prevent infringements of competition law and, if necessary, to punish them.
